“The feeling that I have with this group of players goes beyond a professional relationship,” says a clearly emotional faroli. Despite the missing of the national title, the trainer is extremely proud of his selection. “I didn’t expect that. And especially the band with Jordan Henderson and Steven Berghuis does a lot to me.”
Future
This season is done and Faroli has a contract until the summer of 2027, but it is not yet clear whether the Italian coach is still in front of the group even after the summer. At the last press conference of the season, he did not want to comment on it either. “I just want to talk about the feeling that I feel now and what I have experienced today is the most special thing I’ve ever felt in football.”
