Kortrijk started furiously and immediately took a distance from the visitors via three -pointers from Pouedet and Beran. After the first quarter it was 23-20, at half time the Spurs pulled into the dressing room with a comfortable 47-33. With 15 points before the break, Pouedet was the outblinker.
Also after the break Kortrijk continued to dominate. Leuven did not succeed in reducing the difference and saw the home team run up to twenty points. In the final quart, the Bears came to threaten firmly, but the difference remained on seven points in favor of the home team.
Kortrijk, which barely lost twice in-house this season, goes with confidence to the semi-finals of the play-offs and can continue to dream of the Belgian title.
