The ESC 2025 is decided- and there is a clear winner: JJ, who competed for Austria with the song “Wasted Love”, won the song contest with a clear distance and a total of 436 points- consisting of 258 jury and 178 public points.

Israel finished second with the contribution “New Day Will Rise” by Yuval Raphael, who received 60 jury and 297 public points and thus came to 357 points. Third place went to Estonia with Tommy Cash and the song “Espresso Macchiato”, which achieved a total of 356 points- divided into 98 jury and 258 public points.

ESC 2025: JJ crying, Austrian Federal President congratulates

JJ thanked the European audience with tears. The Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen already congratulated the musician for his victory. “What a success! What a voice! What a show! Dear JJ, warm congratulations on the fulminant 1st place at the Eurovision Song Contest,” he writes.

ESC 2025: only 15th place for Germany

For Germany it was ESC 2025 rather a disappointment, although this time it was not the last place. Abor & Tynna came 15th with the song “Baller”.
