After the fire broke out around 6.50 pm, the fire brigade quickly broke up to ‘very large fire’ and was present with a lot of equipment.
A spokesperson for the Utrecht Security Region told NH that the fire had been skipped to the building next to it, this is a different storage of the same company.

Although local residents were advised to close windows and doors and eliminate electric ventilation systems, the spokesperson said that this advice could be withdrawn quickly. “The smoke is almost completely gone, we are now looking at how the fire is developing.”
Nothing is known about the cause of the fire. The fire brigade asked the public to stay at a distance and not come and see the fire, so that emergency services could do their work.
