At the intersection of Wittstraat with Vreedestraat in Rijen an accident happened around a quarter to eight on Saturday evening. Two passenger cars collided with each other. One of the cars came to a halt on his side.

Three passengers were checked in an ambulance. Nobody had to go to a hospital.

One driver was taken by the police because he might have driven under the influence and caused the accident.

The fire brigade also had to take action to check an electric car that was involved in the collision. After all the danger had passed, a recovery company has towed and removed both cars.
