The fencing runner shows the messages they receive to NRK asking if they could buy, among other things, used lingerie, t-shirts, socks, workout clothes or swimwear.
– I find it disgusting. I find it sick that people dare to ask something like that, Rooth told NRK.
Andresen and Asmo also say they have received similar offers.
– We get a lot of socks. They are most and preferably should be used. We do not do it, says 21-year-old barrelsen.
– I remember getting a lot of such messages before. It may have been one or two queries per week. It’s mainly about socks and panties, says 26-year-old sprinter Aasmo.

Rooth reveals in an interview that he has been offered SEK 5,000 to 200,000 Norwegian clothes. SEK 5,000 is approximately EUR 430, and SEK 200,000 is just over EUR 17,000.

According to him, contacters usually have a false account.
“They are men of all ages,” Rooth believes.
Rooth emphasizes most of the messages in social media is pleasant. However, he says he does not spend time and effort to those who want to buy used clothes.
– I think it’s completely excluded, so I let it go pretty easily. I just hope that young girls in a more vulnerable situation are not asked the same, because the money offered here is often quite large, Rooth continues.
Aasmo has over 66,000 followers on Instagram. He says that private messages are quickly filled with fans and those who want to buy used socks and lingerie.
– I have been offered a maximum of about 40,000 Norwegians [3 400 euroa] of used underwear. It’s so stupid that I can’t take it seriously. It’s a lot of money, but I’ve never considered it, Aasmo says.
