Frans Bauer lets the rumors over an affair with Sieneke Peeters: he says no more about it. His copywriter Emile Hartkamp is a little more loose. “It’s a generous man.”
It is one of the most remarkable love rumors in the showbiz: that about the alleged affair between Frans Bauer and Sieneke Peeters. What makes this rumor different from all kinds of other juiceroddels is that Frans’s brother is involved. This Dorus Bauer says he caught Frans and Sieneke in the dressing room. Why would he come up with something like that?
Kosher
Emile Hartkamp is not only a copywriter, but also confidant of French. How does he look at Dorus’s action? “I think he has been manipulated, kicked in somewhere, and then stopped thinking for himself. He should never have pronounced those words. But I let the brothers solve it among themselves,” he says in the Weekend.
“Of course it came because Jan Baum (the ex of Sieneke, ed.) Loked contact with Dorus. I think: why are you looking for contact with someone you have almost never seen? That is either to get a confirmation, or to pick something loose. I don’t think it’s completely koosher. But the truth comes above.”
Expensive gifts
Jan Baum states that Frans also gave all kinds of expensive gifts to Sieneke. What about that? “Frans is generous, with love, with warmth. He will help where he can help. But Frans will certainly not give jewelry to a Sieneke or another woman from scratch.”
He continues: “He will only do a bite to eat if it is appropriate. If he thinks: this is now necessary. It will stop there. I dare to draw that line immediately.”
Hand in fire
So Emile would really put his hand in the fire for French? No, not that. “I am not a clairvoyant and they always say: you should never put your hands in the fire for someone. But I put them a long way in the fire for both French and for Sieneke.”
Finally: what does Frans think about it? “He considers it mainly as a waste of time to be busy with it for longer. And to be honest: he is right. Ready with it and continue with daily life.”
