After Nick Bätzner (25, target unknown), Florian Carstens (26, Hansa Rostock) and Amin Farouk (21, FSV Frankfurt), five other long -time professionals leave SV Wehen Wiesbaden. While home-grown and goalkeeper Arthur Lyska (24) belonged to the professional squad for six years, the defense duo Thijmen Goppel (28) and Nico Rieble (29) as well as the midfield duo Bjarke Jacobsen (31) and Emanuel Taffertshofer (30) have been wearing the SVWW jersey since 2021.
“Findings are part of football-and yet they are never easy. We would like to thank all players who leave the club for their efforts in the SVWW dress. Each of them left their mark on and next to the square in the club. We want all the best for the further professional and private way. At the same time, we want to celebrate a successful end of their time at the SVWW,” said sports chief Uwe Stöver, ” Bätzner and Goppel (750,000 euros each market value) loses the two most valuable players in the squad.
