Lieke Klaver opens season with third place in Doha at 400 meters: ‘Wind makes it difficult’

Lieke Klaver started her outdoor season with third place in the 400 meters in the Diamond League meeting in Doha (Qatar). The European Champion Indoor ran a time of 51.12 seconds. She was unable to cope with the fast Salwa Eid Naser from Bahrain, who won in 49.83. The Polish Natalia Bukowiecka finished second in 50.92.
