The federal government established a new quota for the Medicine and Dentistry courses on Friday. For the whole of Belgium, a maximum of 2,328 future doctors may start their further education in 2031, while the ceiling for dentists in 2030 was set at 307 candidates. Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) increased the quota both compared to last year and the earlier advice from the planning committee.
