Venezuelan opposition calls for boycott and ’empty polling stations’ during parliamentary elections

The polling stations during the Venezuelan local and parliamentary elections on 25 May will be empty. That is what opposition leader Maria Corina Machado said on Thursday. She calls for a total boycott, about ten months after the controversial re -election of President Nicolás Maduro on July 28 last year.
