The mobile workplace project, a collaboration between the public Flemish waste company (OVAM) and various justice houses, led last year to the clearance of 13,000 kg of litter in Flanders. This unique initiative enables convicted persons to carry out their work sentence by cleaning problem locations, which benefits both the environment and society.
