The fire broke out while driving. At the intersection of the Hille and Bruggestraat in Zwevezele, the driver stopped after he was alerted by oncoming traffic. The engine compartment was already on fire at the time. Extingful extinguishing, had no effect. And when the fire brigade arrived, the van was already in lighter. In the end the vehicle burned out completely. Nobody was injured.
