Welcome to our live blog. In the play-offs for a place in the Eredivisie, Telstar will play at home tonight against ADO Den Haag. The return is in The Hague on Saturday. At 6.45 pm the kick-off will be kicked off in Velsen-Zuid. The game can be heard live at NH.

Last: Telstar – ADO Den Haag 2-0

What a wonderful victory from Telstar. The team of coach Anthony Correia wins 2-0 against ADO Den Haag. Saturday is the return in the first round of the play-offs. The winner plays against FC Den Bosch of SC Cambuur in the second round.

No less than six minutes of injury time are added. This can hardly go wrong anymore. Telstar plays very solid.

Time is ticking and that is in favor of Telstar. Goal scorer Danny Bakker goes to the side and Mees Kaandorp is his replacement.

Hamdaoui and El Kachati go off. Van Ekeris and Kharchouch come in.

The home team creates little in the second half, but is therefore 2-0 ahead. ADO Den Haag, on the other hand, has to force something and does not succeed in the front panog.

A cross from Mieghem’s Daryl flies past everyone. Also along ADO attacker Rottier who could almost put his foot against the ball. That looked dangerous.

A nice counter from Telstar. Jayden Turkruijer shoots a meter wide.

Referee Dieperink gives a penalty. The VAR intervenes and says that the slight violation of Hardeveld was outside the sixteen. The free kick of ADO defender Jari flat goes into the wall.

The second half started. ADO soon gets a free kick on the edge of the sixteen. Van Mieghem’s use goes into the wall. The rebound of the ADO striker is about.

Telstar goes to the dressing room with a great feeling. The Noord-Hollanders are 2-0 ahead of ADO The Hague.

Danny Bakker heads in. At the second post he can easily hit heads through the ground. Calculated baker who scores against his old club.

After a spectacular initial phase with opportunities back and forth, it is now a somewhat boring phase in the game. Telstar has the 1-0 lead.

Telstar had a somewhat difficult phase, but through Telstar midfielder Mohamed Hamdaoui it gets a big chance. Unfortunately, his assumption is not good and the chance is smothered in the bud.

Diogo Tomas with a header just over. He changes a shot from a distance from direction.

Owusu with a nice pass on El Kachati. He takes the ball in the sixteen, but his shot is high.

Lee Bonis shoots from seventeen meters on the post. Telstar gets away well.

Who else than Youssef El Kachati taps the ball inside. On a pass from Tyrone Owusu, he gets the ball on a silver platter.

AZ trainer Maarten Martens cannot have Jayden Addai in the league match against FC Twente on Wednesday. The 19-year-old attacker fell into the game against FC Groningen on Sunday and was injured.

“He had a lot of problems and had to be investigated further,” Martens reported on the club website. “It immediately looked like he couldn’t play.”

The trainer returned defender Wouter Goes, who was suspended. Jordy Clasie, Troy Parrott and Kristijan Belić cannot yet be used.

At FC Twente, trainer Joseph Oosting has access to the same players as in the match against FC Utrecht last weekend. Sam Lammers and Naci Ünüvar are not there just like last Sunday. “Just like Taylor Booth,” says Oosting on the club website. “Taylor trains, but is in the construction phase.”

FC Twente is fifth and has 1 point more than AZ.

Josip Sutalo and Brian Brobbey are part of the selection of Ajax for Wednesday’s away match against FC Groningen. The defender and attacker are fit on time, reports trainer Francesco Farioli on the Ajax website.

Sutalo was dizzy in the home game with NEC (0-3) on Sunday and had to be replaced in the break. Brobbey ran an ankle injury in the run -up to that competition and remained on the reserve bench. Wout Weghorst stood in the rush.

Leader Ajax has a 1 -point lead on PSV with two more matches to go.

Telstar plays an excellent season. Under trainer Anthony Correia it finished in seventh place in the first division. In the last round of the regular season, it took a ticket for the play-offs as the last team. The last time Telstar came out in the play-offs was in 2018 when it was eliminated by De Graafschap.

The IJmonders have been playing in the first division for years. The last time the football players came out in the Eredivisie was in 1978.
