(2001) and “Take Them on, On Your Own” (2003) were still shaped by the classic heavy rock sound à la Led Zeppelin, the band around Peter Hayes and Robert Levon Been hit new tones with “Howl”: Acoustic folk-and with success. “Howl” achieved 60th place in the Billboard 200 and 14th place on the UK charts.
In 2006, BRMC added the EP “Howl Sessions”, which contained six unpublished tracks, which had been recorded at the same time as the album. An exclusive deluxe edition of “Howl” on Vinyl-also with previously unpublished material, appears on the tour.
