The first day of the closure of the A1 from the Watergraafsmeer seemed like a windfall; the striker was not necessarily busier Then normal. But with the evening rush hour already spoke because an accident happened on the A9 near Amstelveen. A truck stands still there because of fallen cargo. Normally the traffic could be led via the A10, but that is difficult because of the work on the A1.
Rijkswaterstaat hopes to have completed the mountain of the vehicle before 5 p.m. “But because of the complexity it is not yet clear whether that will work.”
Work
Work on the A1 started last Friday evening. The roads, mostly from the 50s and 60s, are in need of replacement. The noise barriers must also be replaced. The intention is that the work must be ready there on 26 May.
