Environmental activists open attack on French heritage cheese with the support of Facebook pioneer

After earlier campaigns against animal husbandry, agriculture, hunting and fishing, French environmental activists have now chosen a new target: the traditional Comté cheese. Since 1958, this well-known cheese from the Jurage Mountains in the Franche-Comté region has been part of the French gastronomic heritage and has been produced in a traditional way for centuries.
