Further changes in Kik.

Exactly one week after Christian Kümmel’s appointment as the new CFO, the retailer has now found a new managing director for the textile sector.

Verena Gaese has been the role of the managing director of the textile sector since May 1st, KIK Textiles and Non-Food GmbH announced on Monday. Gaese, which has been transported out of their own ranks, will in future be responsible for the overall responsibility for segments women’s upper clothing, men’s clothing, children’s confection, baby, laundry, stockings and accessories. In her new function, she reports directly to the management.

Promotion after almost two years

“Verena Gaese is an experienced expert for purchasing processes in the textile sector. Since her start at KIK, she has achieved important improvements with us,” says Patrick Zahn, CEO of KIK. GAESE’s promotion symbolizes the corporate philosophy, which “offers strong opportunities for further development and attractive promotion opportunities in all levels”. He also confidently commented that Gaese will “develop strategically and future -proof” in its new position.

Gaese has been part of Kik for a little less than two years. Before her promotion to the managing director of the textile sector, she was already responsible for the textile sector of women’s and men’s fashion. It originally switched from C&A to Kik in the summer of 2023. She worked for the clothing provider for a total of 14 years, most recently as Head of Buying.
