The Ibiza trip of some Bayern players currently triggers discussions. In their first party night, the players probably behaved very well – and still spent a lot of money.
The big master celebration in the Allianz Arena was not enough for them: After FC Bayern has successfully recaptured the German championship and she was rehearsing this achievement after the 2-0 victory against Gladbach on Saturday in the usual manner, a total of 13 Bayern professionals are currently in Ibiza to continue the title.
Such a trip was actually planned for the past week, but was still prohibited by the Bayern boss around Max Eberl. The reason: the competition is still running and therefore such a trip does not belong. A week later, however, the role backwards. Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller, Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Raphaël Guerreiro, Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman, Konrad Laimer, Dayot Upamecano, Josip Stanišić, Aleksandar Pavlović and Jonas Urbig were allowed to fly to the party island on Sunday.
The measure certainly triggered criticism. Because with TSG Hoffenheim, the last remaining Bayern opponent is still in the relegation battle, with a high defeat could still slip to the relegation rank.
The “Bild” newspaper now reports on details of the first party night on Ibiza. Accordingly, the Bayern stars stayed in the club “Pacha” and had rented their own VIP lounge directly behind the DJ desk, which was only reached via a staircase and shielded by security people. Nevertheless, some women are said to have danced with the Bayern stars in the lounge.
According to the report, new, Laimer and Upamecano even dared the normal dance floor for all club visitors for five minutes. In particular, new ones are said to have been recognized, but have talked calmly and kindly with the other guests.
According to the “Bild” Gnabry, Laimer and Upamecano, which probably only left the club through the back entrance at half past five have left the back entrance. According to a party guest, the players are said to have held back with the alcoholic beverages and mainly drunk water. According to the newspaper, this also costs 14 euros per bottle in the club.
