HSV promotion ceremony in the town hall: Appointment is certain

The joy of Hamburger SV is huge: both the men and the women of the HSV have made it to the Bundesliga. Hamburg Mayor Peter Tschentscher recognizes this sporting performance with an official Senate reception in the town hall.
The reception will take place on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 5 p.m. in the Hamburg town hall. The Senate announced on Monday. Tschenscher had made his congratulations public at the weekend – and was even at the HSV cabin party. There he celebrated the promotion with players, coaching staff and those responsible.
On X, Tschenscher wrote on Sunday: “The HSV is back, the mood is terrific. For May 19, I cordially invite the club to the Senate Reception in the town hall.” This announcement was now officially on Monday.
