Lazio and Maccabi Israel, the international Jewish organization that deals with promoting social and sporting activities have signed it today in Formello. The agreement signed at the sports center of the Biancoceleste club lays the foundations for a partnership between the two entities based on the shared values of sport, social inclusion and international cooperation. And it also has the fundamental objective of counteracting any form of discrimination and strengthening the role of football as a bridge between cultures.

The agreement had had as a premise a meeting held in Tel Aviv in recent weeks. The choice to sign it in Rome testifies to the strong link between the capital and the Israeli community. The president of Lazio Claudio Lotito do the honors of the house. The ambassador of Israel in Italy Jonathan Peled and the president of the Jewish community of Rome Victor Fadlun were present. “We are happy to start this collaboration with Maccabi Israel – said Lotito. – Our organizations share a rich tradition and an educational and cultural vision. We will develop technical and social synergies and promote campaigns against hatred and racial discrimination”. Those of the deputy CEO of Maccabi Israel Nor Galili echoed the words of the patron of the Lazio: “We are proud to collaborate with a prestigious club like Lazio.
