It has been done: Hamburger SV rises to the Bundesliga. A hit hit in the event of return to the upper house was already circulating.
The long-awaited Bundesliga return of Hamburger SV is bagged on the penultimate matchday-thanks to a 6-1 gala against SSV Ulm. The “red pants” had previously secured a climbing hit in the event of cases. On Friday-one day before the HSV game against Ulm-pop singer Saskia Leppin released her new song “We are back”.
In it, the glowing HSV supporter, who has been showing herself in the Hanseatic jersey on social media for weeks and keeps their fingers crossed for the team in the promotion race of the 2nd Bundesliga, is still the upcoming coup. “We have come back to stay until the latest day. Three colors of my love, black and white blue, HSV,” it says.
Courage and optimism of the singer paid off. After six unsuccessful attempts, the HSV finally made the leap into the German upper house again. Now “everything has always been”, as Leppin sings in her new song.
Despite the experiences of the past few years, in which the HSV regularly went out in the final sprint, she had already been optimistic in advance. “For me it is an absolute matter of the heart and I firmly believe that we can do it together this year!” She wrote on Instagram.
There she also published an emotional video from the Volksparkstadion on Saturday evening. “I cry. We did it,” she writes about the clip on which crowds storming on the square can be seen after the final whistle. The video is stored – of course – with its new hit hit.
On social media, the singer and musical actress, who can also be seen regularly on stage in ARD shows, get away with her new anthem well. “Will be my new ringtone, really a great song for me,” writes a user. Another asks: “We missed your song in the stadium playlist. What was it?”
Before the final coup, however, there had also been doubters. “What is actually when the HSV makes HSV things again, so it is still playful?” Asked one with a wink. “What happens when not as a promotion with the song? Question for a friend,” writes another user. Neither Leppin nor the HSV have to deal with this question.
