On Saturday, Thomas Müller goes to his last home game with FC Bayern. To say goodbye, the club published a curious photo series with the club icon.
In a total of 25 years in the club, including 17 years as a professional, Thomas Müller experienced a lot with FC Bayern Munich. FC Bayern published the series of pictures on its Instagram account. An event from Müller’s Bayern career is mentioned in each of the photos. Müller himself tries to express his emotions in his facial expressions and gestures. In addition, Müller bears the right Bayern jersey from the respective time.
In the photo for his first substitution for FC Bayern, Müller makes about a frightened, anxious face. In a picture under the heading “Müller meets again”, Müller flows the tough and shows concentrated fists. For the “Finale Dahoam” in 2012, Müller suggests a bitterly crying face.
However, Müller still has the chance to add some more photos to the gallery. On Saturday, among other things, he will receive the master shell in the Bavaria jersey for a total of 13 times. The title can no longer be taken from Munich. In addition, Müller will still appear for FC Bayern at the club World Cup in the USA.
How it goes on afterwards is still unclear. Müller is repeatedly associated with a change to the American major League Soccer (MLS). However, some European clubs should also be interested in the 35-year-old. A career end would also be conceivable.
