ARD has secured rights to the men and women’s DFB Cup for the coming years. Furthermore, some games will be followed live on all offers of the sports show.
The contract for the broadcast of the games on free TV from the 2026/27 to 2029/30 season comprises seven or eight games for men per season. In addition, the ARD has agreed with the DFB about the rights to the competition of women, where the cup final is broadcast live.
