The police take into account that group accommodation ‘t Hunebed on the Brink in Sleen was set on fire. The stay went up in flames on Tuesday night.

After the fire, the police started a neighborhood investigation. It emerged that between 2 a.m. and 3 p.m. several vehicles have driven past the Brink that may have seen something, including a light -colored delivery van.

The morning after the fire, the owner of ‘t Hunebed Richard Rolink saw that the police used search dogs to look for traces. “They look for the fire and don’t expect to need much time for that.”

Rolink has been upset with the municipality of Coevorden for years about his building, and there is also dissatisfaction in the neighborhood. A permit has never been issued for a group accommodation. “We are now figuring out with the insurer whether we can build a new group accommodation.”
