The adjustments must respond to the increasing demand for flexible public transport in the region. “We see that more and more residents and visitors are using flex transport, especially during weekends and vacation days,” says De Lijn. “This expansion makes it possible to better respond to their needs.”

Specifically, this means that there are two vehicles two hours longer at school holidays, up to 10 pm instead of 20 hours. Two extra vehicles are added on Saturdays and Sundays. On Saturday they run between 10 am and 11 pm, and on Sundays between 10 am and 9 pm.
