Circularity is becoming increasingly important, also in the construction sector. The contractor also believes in this type of concrete. “You see in all sectors that the environment becomes an important component. If you can take this into account and do not have a loss of quality, why not apply it,” says Mark Casteleyn van Verhelst Group.
Laying the concrete is a feat. The concrete goes into a machine in granulate shape and comes out as a road, including street gutter. “It is a roadway of about 7 meters in which you have a ditch on the left and right. The pieces in between are actually the roadway.”
