Maximilian Rohr has prematurely extended his contract with second division candidate SV 07 Elversberg until 2026. The third -placed person informed on Tuesday afternoon about the signature of the 29 -year -old central defender until June 30, 2028.
Rohr had only moved from SC Paderborn to Saarland in the summer of 2024 for 100,000 euros. There he had immediately established himself as a regular under coach Horst Steffen on the defensive. So far, the strong pipe in 24 games for Elversberg has been on the field, but still remained without his own hits.
“Maximilian has been able to demonstrate his qualities this season with his reliable, sovereign appearances again and again,” says SVE sports director Ole Book. “We are therefore happy to have planning security with him for the next few years at this early stage.” Rohr added: “After my arrival at the SVE, I quickly noticed that the change was the right step for me. Detached from the successful season, working with the entire team is a lot of fun here. Accordingly, I am already looking forward to the future and the common challenges that are still waiting for us here.”
