Hooghoudt Groningen taken over by French. ‘Too bad, but could not do otherwise’

The OER-Groningen distillery Hooghoudt, founded in 1888 by Grietje and Hero Jan Hooghoudt, is taken over by the French La Martiniquaise group. The company is too small to survive independently and is struggling with a headwind. The well-known green letters on top of the Vindicat building do not disappear.
