In 2022, the term ‘femtech’ – a contraction of the words ‘female’ and ‘technology’ – embraces all innovations that provide an answer to female needs, ailments and challenges. That these go beyond a calorie phobia or ingrown hairs seems to have finally made it to the tech industry.
