Where many (large) liberation festivals in Den Lande emphasize party and (live) music, it is largely devoted to reflection, gathering and awareness in Winschoten. A bit heavy on the hand perhaps, certainly because 80 years of freedom is celebrated, but understandable. Certainly in this time.
