The gang was rolled up on April 18 on behalf of the Bruges investigating judge. Two vehicles were intercepted in Brussels. In addition, five men of Serbian and Kosovar descent were arrested. During a house search, De Speurders seized, among other things, mobile phones, clothing, work material, chargers for Walkietalkies and 820 euros. Thanks to the Dog Suppin service of the federal police, they discovered even more burglar materials in a storage place in a forest in Vilvoorde, such as a grinding wheel and a can of scissors.

After interrogation, the five men from 38 to 46 years old were arrested by the Bruges investigating judge on suspicion of bend formation and theft with aggravating circumstances. The Bruges council chamber ruled on April 22 that the suspects should stay in prison for at least a month longer. Further research must show whether they are eligible for even more similar facts.
