If in Miami 2024 McLaren had made F1 understand to have returned among the greats (victory after three years), in Miami 2025 the British team made it clear that for this year it will be practically impossible to remove from the woking bulletin board both the pilot and the manufacturers: Oscar Piastri’s victory in front of her partner Lando Norris and a very regular George Russell. A proud even proud Max Verstappen who started from the pole but had to surrender – we are forced to use a word absent from the vocabulary of the four -time world champion – to the overwhelming power of the Mcl39 by Andrea Stella: the third and fourth came almost 40 seconds from the first two. For Ferraris only placements, very far from the first despite Leclerc and Hamilton’s hunger: in any case too little.
McLaren signal

The strength of McLaren – in mourning for the disappearance of Jochen Massa a few hours after the Via del GP – was paradoxical to the way to the way: because Norris was so aggressive and effective for once as to put the pepper on the tail of Poleman Verstappen, certainly not tender to the green traffic light. Having said that Verstappen struggles alone with his class as a phenomenon against two opponents with the upper machine, behind the Mercedes is the most continuous and with the most balanced drivers in terms of results. Russell managed his single -seater well, a series of Virtual Safety Car exploited by changing the tires and limiting the waste of time to the pits: he resisted comfortably also at the return of Max to the second part of the race, and in the end he found himself on the podium for the fourth time in the season. Antonelli paid a little at the distance after starting very well, but we are talking about a “boy” who runs with exemplary wisdom and humility: he has closed sixth and for now it’s okay, especially since Miami has tried the thrill of the first career pole even if only in the Sprint qualification. Well the Williams (Mercedes motorized, does it tell you something?), With Albon even fifth and Sainz ninth after a duel that the former partner Leclerc and the one who “blown” him the place in Ferrari, Hamilton.
Little Ferraris

And we are at the stable, which came out with the bones broken by Miami: Hamilton’s third place in the sprint is less than a hot broth for a Ferrari in a total identity crisis.
