Almost half of the Flemish companies were victims of a cyber attack last year

Last year, almost half (45.8 percent) of the Flemish companies became victims of a cyber attack. In one in ten cases, that attack was also ‘successful’. It then assumes stealing sensitive data and from commercial information to the demand of ransom. This is evident from the study that the Flemish Government had carried out annually to map the maturity in the field of cyber security.
