Guns N ‘Roses started on Thursday evening in the Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Incheon, South Korea, her “Because what you want & what you get are Two Completely Different Things Tour“For 2025. The setlist will be similar to everyone who saw GN’R during the Reunion era. The 45-year-old Carpenter played in the high school in a Guns n ‘Roses cover band called .22S and tulips. In 2009 he joined McKagan’s side project Loaded, making him realizing his high school dream after Guns had separated from Ferrer. This is the first change in the occupation of the Guns N ‘Roses touring band since the beginning of the Reunion in 2016. Carpenter is according to Steven Adler, Matt Sorum, John Freese, Bryan “Brain” Mantia and Ferrer the sixth drummer of the band.
Further stations of the tour and festival highlights
The tour will continue on May 5th in the K arena in Yokohama, Japan. If there are no further appointments, it ends on July 31 at the Wacken Open Air Festival in Wacken, Germany. On the way they are accompanied by public enemy, rival songs and the sex pistols with Frank Carter.
New album? Fans hope for fresh material
Guns N ‘Roses have published a number of singles in recent years, including “Absurd”, “Hard Skull”, “Perhaps” and “The General”, which, however, come from the “Chinese Democracy” sessions about two decades ago. Since the return of Slash and McKagan, they have not published any new songs. There are rumors about a new album, but no concrete indications that one is in the works.
