The women of FC Bayern have already bagged the championship title prematurely. Only the trophy was missing for the double. But for that they had to pass Werder Bremen.
The women of FC Bayern Munich wrote club history. With a 4: 2 (2: 1) victory in the DFB Cup final against Werder Bremen, you won the double of the championship and trophy for the first time.
National player Lea Schüller (6th, 65th and 79th minute) and Carolin Simon (30th) scored the goals for FCB. Rieke Dieckmann (45.+2) and Larissa Mühlhaus (90.+4) netted for Werder in the added times of the first and second half.

It is only the second DFB Cup victory for you after 2012. Since then, in addition to permanent winner Wolfsburg, only the 1st FFC Frankfurt has won the title. The past ten titles all went to the “wolf”. Now the series is finally over.
