While party leaders of national parties celebrate on the results evening that they became the biggest in this city or that they did better in that place compared to another election, there is really nothing to celebrate for any of those parties. The municipal elections of 2022 continued a development that was also visible in the recent parliamentary elections: fragmentation and low confidence in national politics.
