The handball Bundesliga clubs THW Kiel, SG Flensburg-Handewitt and MT Melsungen are in the final Four of the European League. The German trio successfully completed its quarter-finals and qualified for the final round on May 24th and 25th in Hamburg.
Kiel defeated Limoges handball from France after a 26:26 in the first duel with 35:30 (16:15), Flensburg celebrated the second victory over Gog from Denmark and Melsungen after 29:26 with the 35:29 (17:12) a clear 32:22 (15: 8) at Bidasoa Irun in Spain.
In addition, the French Club Montpellier HB made the leap into the final Four. The semi -finals will be drawn in Vienna on Wednesday.
Jicha break takes care of the turn in the Kiel game
The French initially confidently played up at their first appearance in the Kiel Arena. A 3: 6 deficit in the 10th minute made European Cup debut Limoges a 13:11 lead (24th).
