Sam Ruddock, British paras athlete and participant in two Paralympic games, is missing. The cyclist, shot put and sprinter had traveled to the USA on April 13 to visit the Wrestling show Wrestlemania in Las Vegas. There has been no contact with him since April 16.
The British Cycling Association called for Ruddock’s whereabouts to be forwarded to the local police: “We ask everyone who has had contact with Sam since April 16 or have information about his location to contact their local police station as soon as possible.”
The Lincolnshire police also confirmed a missing person. A friend of Ruddock reported that the hostel in which the athlete had spent the night stated that he was not checked out and his personal things were still there.
Ruddock took part in the Paralympics 2012 in London and 2016 in Rio. In childhood, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy that causes movement disorders and muscle stiffness.
