Sparta Rotterdam fought for a draw (1-1) for an hour of weak playing Ajax. After a hefty defeat against FC Utrecht last week, Ajax was repeatedly chased by its own supporters in the Arena on Sunday.
After several chances, Sparta took the lead in the 95th minute, due to a huge mistake by the Ajax keeper. The home club came a minute later to a draw.

Ajax and PSV played the same number of matches again after next weekend and then come into action three more times. Ajax still plays at home against NEC and FC Twente and visits FC Groningen. Feyenoord, Heracles and Sparta are the last three opponents of PSV this season in the Eredivisie.
Ajax has to win two of the last three matches to become a champion, if PSV wins everything.
