Blind Channel’s fans were annoyed by the band’s Saturday announcement that a singer-guitarist Joel Hokka leaves the band.
The band said that the difference would not affect the friendship of Hoka and the remaining bands. Hokka said he had suffered sleep problems and said he was leaving the band for health reasons.

Blind Channel Facebook release The comments remembers a similar case a few years ago when Nightwish’s indigenous drummer Jukka Nevalainen had to leave the band behind for his insomnia.
– This hurts so much. Reminds me of what happened to Jukka Nevalainen and Nightwish. But health comes first, one person writes on Blind Channel on Facebook.
“This is sad, but honestly, no surprise,” says.
– This is heartbreaking, but I wish Joel the best. Health is not a matter of play. Hope to see you again on stage at some point, the third one hopes.

Blind Channel became aware of the general public in 2021, when it represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest. The band finished sixth and is one of the most successful representatives of Finland’s visa history.
Joel Hokka is one of the original members of Blind Channel, founded in 2013. Last year, the band was on an unspecified break.
