Design and history
–
Pininfarina’s hand is infallible again this time: the 330 GTC It is a set of clean lines and balanced proportions, without pretensions or visionary profiles. The front is inspired by the 500 Superfast while the tail recalls the 275 GTS, creating a stylistic harmony that still makes it an icon today. Being a car born among the giants – 365 Daytona, Dino 206 gt, 250 GTO And others – it may have gone unnoticed: produced between ’66 and ’68, less than 600 specimens are counted, plus another 100 in the version Spider (GTS). It was typical of those years to produce a few hundred specimens the year of each model to maintain an artisan and exclusive identity. What distinguished the 330 GTC from the other Ferraris of the time was its extraordinary versatility. Unlike the most extreme Berlinettes designed for the track, this Gran Turismo offered a welcoming and well -finished interior, with high quality leather seats, complete instrumentation and a sounding level that allowed to face long journeys without sacrificing comfort. It was a Ferrari suitable for those who wanted to combine the pleasure of sports guide with the possibility of facing long movements with elegance and without excessive renunciations.
