Bundesliga newcomers SC Paderborn 07 have presented their eighth new signing, Jano ter Horst (23). According to the “Kicker“for a fixed transfer fee of 200,000 euros.
The Münster homegrown player made the jump to the professionals in 2023, where ter Horst was quickly able to assert himself. In 93 games he contributed six goals and eight assists. In the past season, in which ter Horst was only out of the starting line-up in two games due to yellow card suspensions, he doubled his market value to 1.2 million euros.
“Jano’s profile fits our sports club very well. He can be used flexibly in defense. He is also fast, helpful to the team and capable of development. Jano also impresses with his enormous mentality and has very good physical conditions. We are really looking forward to him and are convinced that he will also show his qualities in the Bundesliga,” said sports director Sebastian Lange.
