FC Barcelona won the Spanish trophy. In the Sevilla Olympic Stadium, coach Hansi Flick’s club won 3-2 against Real Madrid after extra time. Defender Jules Koundé scored the decisive goal in the 116th minute.
Previously, his teammates Pedri (28th) and Ferran Torres (84th) as well as the real stars Kylian Mbappé (70th) and Aurélien Tchouaméni (77.) met. The German international Antonio Rüdiger also saw the red card (120.+3) in added time.

While Barça had to do without Robert Lewandowski entirely, Real Kylian Mbappé was initially on the bench due to ankle problems. The German national goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen was also back in the Barcelona squad since his patella tendon tear in September-but as a substitute.
Hansi Flick’s team started furiously, put pressure on it early and pushed the Madrilenen deep into their own half. Lamine Yamal had the first great option in the 18th minute, his shot narrowly missed the left post.
A little later Pedri brought the Catalans into the lead with a remarkable goal. The game was then increasingly determined by intensive duels. Real remained harmless for a long time, only one offside goal by Jude Bellingham briefly caused excitement (35th).
After the break, the “royal” showed themselves significantly improved. However, Vinícius Júnior left several good chances unused. Only a free kick goal by Mbappé did the equalizer, Tchouaméni then turned the game in favor of the Madrilenes.
However, Barça demonstrated morality: Torres equalized again. In added time, the referee initially decided on a penalty for Barcelona, but took the decision back after a VAR check because of a swallow from Raphinha (90.+6).
In the extension, Barça finally prevailed because the outstanding defender Koundé ensured the decision with a long -range shot.
