Even before the kick -off, the superiority of Györ in the Audi Arena was clearly noticeable: almost 5000 spectators fired their team loudly and vocals loudly.
However, the Ludwigsburgers were significantly stronger than in the first half of the first leg a week ago (24:25). Despite the loud support of the fans in Györ, HB Ludwigsburg scored the first goal of the game by Jenny Carlson in the second minute.
Then it continued with a lot of will and fighting spirit on both sides. In addition, HB Ludwigsburg was most of the time with a maximum of two hits behind the over team from Hungary. Shortly before the break, Györ then increased to three goals (13:10).

Györ dominates the second half
Both teams came out of the cabin unchanged and were also at eye level at the beginning of the second half. However, hosts had probably adjusted to the defense performance of the Ludwigsburg women during the break and increased to four goals for the first time in the 35th minute (16:12).
The Hungarian record champions were able to keep this distance in the rest of the season because the team from Hungary was much safer in the end. Four minutes before the end, Györ even increased to six goals (27:21). The Ludwigsburgers could no longer catch up with this and so Györ went out of the game as a clear winner (29:22).
