The starting signal for King’s Day in Opperdoes is traditionally given by the members of the Tavenu music association. Trumpet players Simone Meurs and Inge Visser played a Reveille from the church tower of the most royal village of Noord-Holland. An honorable task and then you have to overcome your fear of heights: “I am happy when I stand with both feet on the floor again,” says Inge. Watch the video below.
