Arcade Fire is back: On Friday (April 25th), the Indie Rock Group with “Pink Elephant” published the title song of its upcoming record of the same name. Her seventh studio album will be released on May 9, 2025.

With Pink Elephant, the band delivers the second new track from the new album, after “Year of the Snake” has already heralded a new era in band history with a booming bass line and hymnic melodies. The publication once again increases the anticipation for the album, which promises ten new tracks with a total of 42 minutes of play-the first LP since the Grammy-nominated and internationally celebrated number-and-album WE from 2022.

The album title relates to the psychological effect that the conscious displacement of a thought often leads to the fact that it becomes all the more present-a topic that arcade fire takes up in the passionate-forgotten chorus of “Take your mind off me”. Pink Elephant was created in New Orleans in its own Good News Recording Studio by Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, which produced the album together with Daniel Lanois. With Pink Elephant, the band wants to invite a sound, between light and shadow, a journey to their own inner and beauty in hidden.
On May 10, just one day after the release, Arcade Fire also celebrates her sixth appearance as a musical guest at the popular US show “Saturday Night Live”.
