Primark has a new Germany boss.
Sandra Luxem-Bremen takes on the role of the Director of Sales for Germany and Austria on May 1, the Irish textile discounter said on Friday.
In this function, Luxem Bremen will concentrate in particular on the transformation of the Germany business. This is to be continued in order to achieve sustainable, profitable growth and to expand the market presence in the long term, the statement says.
“I’m looking forward to my new task,” said Luxem-Bremen. “My goal is to promote the transformation of Primark and to fully exploit the potential of the Germany and Austria markets.”
New Germany boss comes from Deichmann
Luxem-Bremen changes from Deichmann to Primark. She worked for a total of twelve years at the shoe dealer, most recently as Vice President for the areas of sales and process operations. Your focus was on strategic control and internal communication between purchasing, marketing and sales – as well as the optimization of cross -range processes, according to the message.
As managing director, the retail expert follows Lisa Shannon’s footsteps. The Retail Director of Primark had taken over the management of Germany and Austria business in June 2024 after Christiane Wiggers-Voellm left the company. Wiggers-Voellm held the position for almost five years. Shannon will continue to work in her role as a retail director and will therefore be strategically responsible for Germany and Austria markets.
