Attention, risk of yellow: three professionals from Eintracht Braunschweig have to watch locked against Regensburg. It could get another six on Saturday.

In the relegation battle of the 2nd Bundesliga it is sometimes a bit rougher. It can therefore happen that the referees reach for the yellow card in some situation. This recently felt Eintracht Braunschweig.

“There were many fouls in the first half, and the referee immediately showed the yellow card and consistently punished with everyone,” said coach Daniel Schering after the victory against 1. FC Kaiserslautern last Saturday (2-0). A thorn in the side of the BTSV coach should be one thing above all: in Lino Tempelmann, Paul Jaeckel and Leon Bell Bell, three professionals saw their fifth yellow card.

The result: At the upcoming duel in the bottom of Jahn Regensburg on Saturday (kick -off 1 p.m.), the trio must watch locked. And Scherning has to rebuild his team. In the past few weeks, Tempelmann has been one of the indispensable components of the team with eight goal participations in 13 games.

Against Regensburg, caution is also required for further professionals. Six Eintracht players are blocked for the subsequent home game against Fortuna Düsseldorf in a further warning. Specifically, the Fabio Kaufmann (nine yellow cards), Ermin Bicakcic, Kevin Ehlers, Jannis Nikolaou, Fabio di Michele Sanchez and Max Marie (four yellow cards each) each.

Good for Eintracht: The team is currently in impressive condition as a network. With three victories in series, the BTSV almost completely got rid of relegation concerns. There are five points ahead of the table 15. Now on relegation place 16 and Prussia Münster – with four remaining games.
