New York (dpa -Afx) – The United Nations warn of a global social crisis – triggered by economic uncertainty, inequality and distrust. Companies worldwide would be destabilized, according to the “World Social Report”, which the UN Department of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs published in New York.

For example, more than 2.8 billion people worldwide – more than a third of the world’s population – lived from the equivalent of around 1.90 to 6 euros per day, the report says. In addition, around 65 percent of the world’s population lived in countries in which income ease increased.
